Parking at Aerospace Bristol

Aerospace Bristol is not within Bristol’s Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ)

Aerospace Bristol is pleased to offer free parking for all visitors and event guests, however, as a charity, we rely on your generous support to help inspire the budding engineers and pilots of the future.

There are two donation points situated in the car park - with the option to donate by cash or card. Please kindly consider giving a small donation to help us maintain our free outdoor facilities, including our car park and special aeroplane playground. Thank you for your support.

Getting Here

Please note that our post code does not take you to the exact location of the museum, so we suggest you check Google Maps before setting out. Alternatively, you can pinpoint our exact location using what3words - search pilots.factories.chew to find the museum entrance.

There are brown signs along three routes:

  • From M5 junction 16

  • From M5 junction 17

  • Along the A38 from the Filton Roundabout (by the Air Balloon pub)

Our brown signs are pictured below. They have an “Aerospace Bristol” version at the start of each route, followed by signs showing the museum ‘M’ symbol along the rest of the route.

An Aerospace Bristol sign is shown at the start of each route. There is one just off M5 junction 16, one just off M5 junction 17, and one at the Filton Roundabout on the A38.

As Hayes Way is a dual carriageway, the museum can only be accessed from one side of the road. If approaching from M5 junction 17 (past Cribbs Causeway), you will pass the museum and need to turn around at the roundabout. If approaching from the A38, you will be on the correct side of the road and will only need to turn around if you miss the gate. The entrance to the museum is on Hayes Way, just after the Lidl supermarket.

If you are unfamiliar with the area then please do take a moment to check Google Maps to ensure your journey goes as smoothly as possible.
